E-document opportunity in new generation payment recorder devices
GİB announced the framework for issuing retail sales receipts and electronic documents on the same device.
The Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué numbered 593 determined the procedures and principles for issuing electronic documents from new generation payment recording devices. The Revenue Administration announcement aims to process collection information integrated with the document.
Thanks to this framework, it is aimed to reduce the use of separate devices and applications for documents such as retail sales receipt and e-Invoice or e-Archive Invoice. For small businesses, it is important that sales, collection and documentation are carried out in the same flow.
Before implementation, the compatibility of the device, the software used and the service provider should be checked. The fact that the regulation has been published does not mean that every existing device can edit all electronic documents without requiring additional preparation.
