August foreign trade data announced
According to ministry data, exports and imports increased in August compared to the same month last year.
According to the August bulletin of the Ministry of Commerce, exports increased by 8.1 percent to 23 billion 467 million dollars, and imports increased by 10.5 percent to 28 billion 706 million dollars. The total foreign trade volume was announced as 52 billion 173 million dollars.
These data show the foreign trade movement across the country; it alone does not explain the sales performance or profitability of a particular business. Sector, product group, exchange rate and collection conditions may produce different results on a company basis.
For businesses that import and export, the bulletin serves as a reference in reviewing budget assumptions and market expectations. Evaluating it together with its own order, stock and cash flow reports provides a healthier financial outlook.
